Good actually. I was used as a weapon for awhile for E11 Industries, but got freed from their control and now I just wish to help undo the evil I have done. Many heroes fell to my powers, and if things go as I expect, I shall be indirectly assisting you in your journey. Until I get the orders though, I shall continue to investigate this strange crime. Also, the Tarot card mentioned earlier does not concern us, Yen Sid was in the process of debriefing us on a mission when this murder occurred, we came directly from there. As you may have noticed, we have a bypass to most of the teleportation restrictions, and can appear and disappear at any time we need to.
Akaxur replied in regards to Leon's Question: "Bit of an uppity question, isn't it?"
We always attempt to divine motive, as well as figure out if witnesses will be available later if the creature is brought to trial for the murders. Often times a guilty conscience will answer that question oddly, and therefore warrant further questioning. You however, seem straight forward, and so does Dante.
Akaxur replied in regards to Phiss's Question: "I think this is the Nobody building?"
Indeed this is the Nobody Contemporary Hotel and Office. Its mostly home to Nobodies, and lots of guests, visitors and many more.
Akaxur replied in regards to Phiss's Statement: "Uh, yeah. Surprise, Ono, Carke, the new chick, that weird guy with the weird slang, Leon and his walking Wolvar, and Taokaka. I think that's all the people in the group. There might've been more people around since this is kind of public."
Actually we are under the impression Surprise was not a witness, as she was spotted elsewhere when the event occured, and based on preliminary scans only has limited access to pocket dimension and slight reality bending, as is expected from characters of her world. At least according to our database.
Akaxur replied in regards to Phiss's Statement: "Uh. Does Dante count?"
Not so much, no.
Akaxur replied in regards to Anyones Statement/Question regarding they were unaware this has happened before and Phiss's Question: "These- Wait, has this happened before?"
58 as of Today. All Nobodies, all without a speck of evidence except a rusty Iron Horseshoe and Railroad Spike, neither of which seem to have an age greater than the moment they struck down a Nobody. All 58 of the Horseshoes and Railroad Spikes are in an evidence container currently, and we hope to not get another, but right now we have no leads, all we can do is report then when they happen and hope they stop. All of the horseshoes are being investigated to perhaps contain portions of the Nobodies inside them, if we can prove they exist inside, we might try to get a key-blade wielder to destroy them, and perhaps free them of their prison. We are unsure though, as the materials seem to have no magical/psychic/divine presence at all, not even a simple cantrip.
Akaxur replied in regards to Phiss's Question: "Depends. Would you answer them?"
I answered some already, I will answer as many as I am allowed.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Question: "In the strange temple, with the many pillars that hold the metal snakes?"
So you are from a feudal or earlier society. I shall have to take that into consideration into your answers, but you need not worry, answer freely we can figure out what you mean, in time.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Statement: "Black Cloaked Priests"
We Black Cloaked Priests are simply called Nobodies.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Questions: "What is a pet? I read from books of pets, but I don't understand what a pet looks like?"
A domestic or tamed animal or bird kept for companionship or pleasure and treated with care and affection.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Statement: "My occupation, *sad sigh* abandon experiment weapon/servant"
I have a similar issue, many experiments are considered failures too soon. It is only too late, they realize the folly of their proclamation of failure.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Statement: "I can rip someone from the inside out in ten different directions in one quick motion, and have learned the fighting styles of Sebekkah and Tahtib."
Akaxur scribbles some notes... related to 'may be a danger to others if left on own, possible recruit for O.S.F.'
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Statement: "Oh, a large metal creature tried to kill innocent squishy two legged beings like you, only without the bright fire… I destroyed the heart of the beast by silencing the lighting coming through it, and a giant sword from another metal warrior of good finished it off."
Akaxur scribbles some notes... related to 'perhaps killed a golem or other mechanical creature. It was attempting to slay sentient creatures of some type.'
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Question: "Should I write that down for you?"
It is being magically recorded, but thank you for offering.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Question: "I have been, most of my life, It is from what I was told a normal thing that happens to everyone in their life of being ripped apart by knifes and prodded. Right?"
Not around here, but there are places where that is something that does happen.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Statement: "dissect the creatures functions to the point of nothingness"
Mind letting us find out more about the creature before you dissect it? The Black Cloaked Priests' souls may be found inside the items.
Akaxur replied in regards to Ravager's Question: "Why are you on fire?"
Actually, I am not on fire. I am a very powerful Red Mage, and my soul-wrenching experience in discovering magic causes my soul to sometimes glow a brilliant red around the parts of my body most focused on the magic I am casting. Mainly around my hands and head, though sometimes my weapons glow, as I think about casting spells through them. That red glow is actually just my soul, connected by a thin thread that none can cut, at least so far, thankfully. Until I have found a way of making the two, whole, I shall remain a nobody. Not even key-blades, which I am sure you shall find out about later, could help.
Once everyone was released from the interview, the lock-down was ended and things started to drift back to semi-normal. The materials had been confiscated by the Security team, and Akaxur stated that none of you were suspects of the murder, and therefore were allowed to go about your business. He did however hope that if you found any clues you would bring them before a security officer so he might attain any possible leads on the murderer. It was then you finally all met up with Surprise again, near the clothing stores, not far from the security office.
